MP Re-program No 4

So it has begun!

I have had completed 3 programs so far and notice more and more changes not just in my body composition but in how I feel and function better each day.

My strength has improved so much and I cant wait to compete next February 2015 in my second competition. Training begun this week after a 2 week recovery period to let my body rest after all the intense lifting I did whilst peaking.

So what are my goals this time around?

Continue getting stronger and increase the weight on all my lifts, shed another 5 - 10 % in body fat whilst building more muscle, and hopefully finally get to that elusive size 10! Still I must admit that having gone from a size 24 to a 12 - 14, I'm pretty damn happy with where the last 2 years has gotten me so far!.

So for now I sign out to sleep, and allow my poor legs to continue recovering from my training session yesterday (gotta love leg day), and plan to wake up refreshed ready to start a day of training my lovely clients and helping them reach their own personal success before my own training commences and I smash out a benching session.

Then shopping, meal prep, more training and chill out time to review some new information on giving my peeps the BEST F.I.R.E and I.C.E training programs possible

THE 6 WEEK LINE - UPDATE

So today I went to have my 6 week DEXA scan check up to monitor my transformation progress. I don't normally rely too much on the little number on the bathroom scales. That number can be such a focal point for most of us to measure our success that it begins to play with your head when you don't see it go where you think it should. Instead I rely on cm's, over all wellbeing (what I call invisible results) like improvements in skin and hair condition, and DEXA scans.

Today my DEXA scan showed that yes I have dropped 1.8 kg of scale weight, but more importantly I have increased my lean muscle mass by 700grams and decreased my body fat % to finally getting under that elusive 30%, now to a healthier 29%. Furthermore more cm have dropped in total 9cm around the body. Not bad for just 6 weeks of training only 2.5 hrs a week and eating 6 delicious meals a day, is it?

Stay tuned for the 12 week results!
